Wow Mellow Yellow Gigi!

Gigi Hadid definitely knows how to impress!

I bet you’ve already seen the model’s look at Gigi Hadid x Maybelline launch party. She’s one of my favorite super models at the moment, so I couldn’t miss the chance to talk about this all-yellow Ralph Lauren outfit she was wearing.

Such the dazzling bright yellow mini dress as the matching coat were from Lauren’s Fall 2017 collection, which just premiered during NYFW.  The dress genuinely highlights her long model legs and the strapless neckline fits stunning on her shoulders! She was the party’s star and totally lit up the event.

In my opinion she’s fantastic and have a natural taste for style, but it would have been better if she had put a one single bright gem necklace on it, anyway, this look was completely devastating!

Hey guys! I haven’t write you for a week because I was too busy with school stuff again. Last week is probably the most amusing week of the school year, the STUDENT COUNCIL WEEK! (By the way the list which I am on, won!! Amazing, right!?). We worked hard and I am truly proud of us, we deserved it. I think what we love the best about this week is to make new friendships, I talk by myself when I say that’s what makes me happier. Yet, as it wasn’t enough, I also had some worksheets for which I had to study, and on Friday night we had a big party and I’m still recovering from it, I’m really tired.

Olá pessoal! Sei que já não vos escrevo há algum tempo, uma semana basicamente, mas tenho estado demasiado ocupada com coisas da escola. A semana passada é provavelmente a semana mais divertida do ano letivo, a SEMANA DAS LISTAS! (Por falar nisso a lista que estou ganhou!!). Trabalhámos muito e estou mesmo orgulhosa de nós, merecemo-lo. Acho que o que mais gostamos desta semana é fazer novas amizades, falo por mim quando digo que é o que me faz mais feliz. Mesmo assim, como se isso não bastasse, também tive alguns trabalhos para os quais tive de estudar, e sexta à noite tivemos uma grande festa e ainda estou a recuperar, ando mesmo cansada.

As you may know by now I love berets, but sadly this is a really warm November, the warmest since I remember, so I’ve only used it twice I guess and I have to take it out by the end of the morning because it’s too hot.

What a show!

Some weeks ago I signed up to make a few poetry performances in a school project and today was finally “the big show”, we recited Álvaro De Campos to celebrate his birthday. I liked my poem a lot but to be honest I couldn’t face the character perfectly. Anyhow I met a loving group of people! Every time we practiced was simply pure fun and I enjoyed it a lot. This project helped me a lot to concentrate and try to keep focus, you should try it if you have issues controlling your concentration, and it is also good to relax and learn. Me and Vlada took the opportunity to take some photos, obviously  ahaha 😛

Rain, clusters and The Good Doctor

Is there a better way to start the cold days? I don’t know, but this is definitely a great one! I have just meditated for a while with a group of girls and it was so relaxing and soft. I am feeling so good right know, I truly enjoy doing meditation either in group or alone, it makes my mind lit up and makes me feel good inside. I love those vibes! By now I am going to watch the 3rd episode of this new serie “The good doctor” that I am admiring a lot actually, while eating cereals (Clusters) and listening to the rain. Yeah, it’s raining, finally!!!! I live in a warm zone but it is not that normal to have high temperatures until this time of the year and today was the first rainy day this autumn, and I am glad for that 🍂🍁💦

Açaí Bowls

Hi everyone! Has anyone here tasted açaí already? If you didn’t, what are you waiting for?!! Açaí is a tropical fruit you’ve probably seen all over your Instagram feed lately, these berries are low in sugar and contain large amounts of fiber, antioxidants, vitamin and calcium. It has several health benefits such as prevent arthritis, inflammations, obesity,  neurological diseases and allergies, it also promotes heart and skin health and reduces irritation. I know I know I’ve been searching ahaha

However, it boosts lots of energy and has many calories and that’s why it should be consumed in considerable amounts, otherwise it can make you gain some weight.

There’s a lot of ways to make a delicious açaí bowl, I had this one for breakfast on Wednesday, in a little pastry shop that I usually go. This one has the açaí as base and then they added granola, cereals, dried fruits, strawberries, raspberries and yogurt. Makes me happy to eat these mixture of strength, I feel healthier you know? 😀

 

 

You can put whatever you want/like into your bowl, it’s your own choice! Here you have some ideas and inspiriting açaí bowls that I took from Pinterest.

 

 I usually mix it with yogurt, add some granola, cereals or stevia, and put the fruit that I have at home like bananas, raspberries, mango, papaya, kiwi, etc… and take it to the school as a morning snack.

 

It is actually a delicious and healthy way to start the day! If you’ve already tried it let me know your tricks and how you do your bowls, in case you haven’t tried it yet, well, try it and then tell me if you liked it 🙂

Olá pessoal! Já alguém provou açaí? Se não, do que estão à espera para o fazer?!! O açaí é uma fruta tropical que muito provavelmente já têm visto no vosso feed do instagram, estas bagas têm um baixo nível de açúcar e contêm muitas vitaminas,cálcio, fibras e antioxidantes. Para além disso, também têm bastantes benefícios quanto à saúde como prevenir artrites, inflamações, obesidade, doenças neurológicas e alergias, o açaí também promove o bem-estar do coração e da pele e reduz irritações. Sim, eu sei, tenho andado a pesquisar ahaha

No entanto, apesar de ter todas estas qualidades, o açaí é um fruto muito calórico e energético, e por isso não deve ser consumido em excesso, de outra forma correm o risco engordar.

Há diversas maneiras de fazer uma deliciosa taça de açaí, isso é aos gostos de cada um. A taça que está aí em cima, comi ao pequeno-almoço na quarta-feira, numa pastelaria que costumo ir quando vou para os arredores de Lisboa. Neste caso, a taça leva o açaí e por cima alguma granola misturada com cereais, frutos secos, morangos, framboesas e yogurt. Faz-me tão feliz comer estas misturas de energia e força, até me sinto mais saudável, percebem? 😀

Como já disse podem adicionar o que quiserem,  frutas, cereais, granola, stevia, sementes, chocolate… a escolha é vossa! Normalmente, costumo misturar o açaí com yogurt açucarado e adiciono granola, stevia ou cereais, juntamente com a fruta que tiver em casa, geralmente ponho banana, framboesas, manga, papaia, kiwi, etc… e levo para a escola como lanche da manhã.
